This page is a "warrant canary." It is a statement that NOKZ publishes and reviews periodically to affirm the status of government and law enforcement requests. It is written this way because some legal demands can come with gag orders that prohibit us from stating directly that we have received them.

As of the date above, NOKZ (operating nokz.io) affirms that it has not:
- received any National Security Letters;
- received any warrants, subpoenas, or court orders from any government or law enforcement body;
- received any gag orders or requests that prohibit disclosure;
- been served, requested, or otherwise compelled by any government institution to hand over user data or access to systems;
- been compelled to modify our infrastructure, install any backdoor or surveillance mechanism, or weaken our security;
- experienced any search or seizure of our infrastructure or data.
No government institution has been provided with access to NOKZ systems or user data.

This statement speaks only to the date shown above. NOKZ intends to review and re-publish this canary periodically. If this page stops being updated for an extended period, is removed, or its wording materially changes, users should treat that as a signal that the situation may have changed — possibly in a way we are legally prevented from stating directly.
Notes and Limitations
NOKZ is designed to retain minimal user data and does not inspect the contents of VPN traffic, so even where a request were to arrive, there may be little information available to provide. This canary is provided in good faith and reflects the operator's knowledge as of the stated date. No online statement can be a guarantee against all forms of legal or technical compulsion.
